The dogs LOVE to go camping. They know when we are getting ready to go. They can sense the changes in the air. When we start getting the coolers loaded and clothes get laid out on the bed. They wont leave our feet. They are like shadows following us around. When time gets even closer and I load my purse in the truck, they load themselves into the backseat and will wait there for hours until it is time to go. They don't want to chance getting left home. Chester is a pretty agile dog and can jump a good height, Callie on the other hand is a Basset Hound and has a little more difficulty with graceful maneuvers. She sometimes gets high centered on the step of the truck. What a pair of spoiled dogs.

On top of Beaver Creek
Scott had just picked up our Basset Hound Callie and Dalton made the mistake of saying,"You never paid that much attention to me when I was a kid." Well Scott decided to try and make up for lost time and picked him up to cuddle.
Time is running short for the weekends at Beaver Creek. We have really enjoyed having the little piece of property this year. Next weekend we will be pulling the trailer out and getting it ready for Hunting Season. Then our "Little Cabin in the Woods" moves to the Minne Maude Creek Range, where Scott and the boys will hunt again this year.Scott and Debbie. On top of the world. The Rhino has been a great all around machine for us. The Dickerson's joined us this weekend for a ride up to the radio towers.
Thanks for comming guys! We had a great time showing you around.

Labor Day Weekend 2008
Labor Day Weekend we went to an area called Nine Mile Canyon.
Some of the most spectacular rock art in Utah is to be found in Nine Mile Canyon northeast of Price. The canyon is actually 40 miles long, do not let the name deceive you. Nine Mile Canyon is remote, hostile, unblemished and roughly beautiful. Called "the world's longest art gallery" it is home to numerous rock art panels, including the famous "Hunter Panel". Most of the rock art was created by the Fremont Indians who occupied this area some 1,000 years ago.Our group extended down the canyon for miles. It was almost like the Jeep Safari in Moab.
The view was spectacular. I had to wonder, What were those Indians doing so far up in the mountains?
Cody is riding on the back of the Can-Am with Hunter. They're good buddies.
If there are rocks to climb, Cody and Hunter will be found climbing them. Here they are at one of the picture panels our Indian ancestors left for us.
Here is the famous Hunter Panel. It is a lot bigger than it looks .
If you go, I would suggest to go in smaller groups than what we did. We were going so slow that our own dust was catching up with us. I would like to go back and check out a few more of the sights. Maybe one day...
