The After Christmas Blues
Ahh the Christmas Village... the take-down is always' such a depressing feat. I usually do this all by myself but this year I enlisted some help. It was even a big job for the four of us to handle.
What a mess!! Thanks guys!!
I think Callie says it all!!

Scott's 4 Point Deer

Scott got a good deer this year, ha ha that rhymes! It shrank from the time he shot, to the time he got to it. Too bad there is no catch and release. Joe said it was a monster, and he made the mistake of believing him.

The Biggest Two Point I've ever seen.
Dalton scored! He decided to shoot this huge two point because it was so unusual. It is still hard to shoot a two point he claims, but this one is one to be proud of.
We are still waiting on Scott's deer pictures, he didn't have the digital with him so we are getting them developed from his disposable camera.

Carving Pumpkins
Last Tuesday night I was pleasantly surprised when Dalton suggested that we carve pumpkins, I really thought those days were over. My kids were just too old and cool for that kind of thing. It really helps for Dalton to have MaCee around, she brings out the softer side in him. (Thanks MaCee!)
It took a little convincing for Cody to join us but he started to get a gleam in his eye when started brainstorming about his design. We all had a lot of fun and came up with some pretty cool pumpkins if I don't say so myself.
I was just in heaven having a night with my kids, just like the old days when they were little and loved to do things with mom. Maybe one day Cody will have a girlfriend that makes him think about dear old mom too. Maybe my mommy days aren't completly over.
